La Recording Academy ha annunciato tutte le nomination per i 59th Annual Grammy Awards, poche le novità fuori dal panorama Pop e R&B, monopolio Beyonce con ben 9 candidature.

I prossimi Grammy Awards avranno luogo il 12 febbraio 2017, e tutte le candidature per lo spettacolo sono state appena annunciate. Poche novità, non è ancora tempo di cambiamenti o forse questa è l’attitudine che contraddistingue questa manifestazione che celebra le star da “business planetario”. Manco a dirlo (meritate o no, non sta noi dirlo) Beyoncé porta a casa un totale di nove nomination, seguita a breve distanza da Drake, Rihanna e Kanye West che ne guadagnano otto a testa.

I Grammy 2017 sembrano insomma essere incanalati in un binario ben preciso. Chance The Rapper e Anderson .Paak si contenderanno probabilmente il premio come Best New Artist, categoria più interessante Best Alternative Music Album con le nomination di Bon Iver, David Bowie, PJ Harvey, Iggy Pop, Radiohead e ci piace segnalare la presenza di Solange in Best R&B Performance, di Flume, Riton e Soffy Tukker in Best Dance Recording, di Jean-Michel Jarre, Underworld, Little Louie Vega in Best Dance/Electronic Album, di Rac e Joe Goddard nella categoria  Best Remixed Recording rispettivamente per aver messo mano a Bob Mose e Chemical Brothers, e infine nella categoria Best Music Video ci fa godere (anche se non vinceranno) la presenza di Jamie XX con Gosh diretto da Roman Gravais e il super videoclip degli OK GO.
